After a 27-13 win over Benton Central, the Chargers look to continue their success and beat the Owen Valley Patriots on Friday.

The Chargers did a good job moving the football, particularly on the ground racking up 218 rushing yards. Quarterback Collin Knecht was decisive with his passing, totaling 195 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. He finished 15-28 in the air and collected 17 yards on five rushes.

“Our offense just has to maintain its consistency.” Head coach Josh Thompson said. “When we are consistent, we move the ball.”

Owen Valley is coming off a 41-14 loss to Vincennes Lincoln. Owen Valley managed to rack up 287 total yards in their loss. Running back Chase Lacoursiere was able to rush for a team-high 110 yards. Quarterback Daniel Burkett was able to pass for 140 yards.

The Chargers are set to take on the Patriots at 7:30 p.m.
