GREENCASTLE-The hot start that North Montgomery's girls soccer team had to start the season found a bump in the road Tuesday night. They lost to Greencastle 4-0. It was their first loss of the season.

All the things that were going so well early on seemed to stop Tuesday.

"We didn't play our game at all," head coach Julie Hodges said. "We were too passive and let them control the game from the start. It was hard for us to get momentum after they started getting ahead. Right now it's more of a mental game. We've got to work on getting out teamwork back and getting our passing and possession back. We know the problem and just have to fix it.

"Our passing was our biggest strength," she added. "Our possession in the first game of the year was tremendous. We were really positive and some of that is lacking and we just have to get it back."

The Tiger Cubs took a 3-0 lead into the intermission and tacked another on after the break.

The Chargers (2-1) will travel to Western Boone on Saturday to open the Sagamore Athletic Conference campaign.
