Ashlynn Bennett and the Chargers are coming together and getting better.
LINDEN-North Montgomery's girls' soccer team lost 9-2 to a tough Cascade team Tuesday night. But the team took steps forward in the loss.

"The score does not indicated how well we played," head coach Julie Hodges said. "Cascade is a very talented team. We dominated the first 25 minutes and took an early lead. We also came out strong in the second half and got an early goal. It was a close 4-2 game at that point. Our effort was excellent and our possession and teamwork was much better. This was a positive step in the right direction despite the final score."

Lauren Odle scored both goals for the Chargers and Kinsey Humphreys assisted on one of them.

The Chargers (3-4) will be back in action Thursday at North Putnam.
