Lauren McClaskey and North notched their first win.
LINDEN-Lightning struck too late to save Benton Central from being defeated by the Lady Charger soccer team Tuesday. Playing just one half, North Montgomery was its own storm to be reckoned with finishing the match with a 3-1 score.

A key contributor for the Lady Chargers was Kinsey Humphries who record a goal and one assist. Lauren Odle and Caroline McClaskey also had a goal each that helped secure the win over Benton Central. Zoey McCormick had an assist, while Emily Jensen logged three saves.

With this win, North Montgomery starts off strong with a 1-0 record. They look to charge on with another win Saturday, on their home field against South Vermillion.
