The North Montgomery girls volleyball team had a rough day against some tough non-conference opponents while hosting their invitational tournament on Saturday, going 1-3.

After losing the first three games, the Chargers were able to end on a good note and win their final game of the day against Beech Grove. Juniors Ally French and Cortney Kolger led the Chargers in kills on the day, French with 18 and Kolger with 15. Seniors Brooke Karle and Megan Warren posted some impressive numbers as well, Karle with 72 digs and Warren with 56 Assists after four games.

The Chargers move to 16-15 overall and 4-1 in the SAC.

They're back at it tonight in a Sagamore matchup with the Frankfort Hotdogs at home.
