Racers battle in Rockville
Wednesday, November 19, 2014 5:55 PM
The Indiana Cross Country Racing (IXCR) sponsored by Westfield Powersports recently held the Rock Run Race near Rockville. Fifty-one youth ATV racers took the Green Flag for the last race of the season for IXCR. Local race teams of AB Racing, Twisted Sister's Racing and WingNut Racing participated in this event.
WingNut Racing rider Ty McGaughey raced to a fifth- place finish in the 90 Stock ATV Class and 31st place finish in the overall riding his Honda TRX 90.
McGaughey said "I got a great start and was second going into the woods. I got passed by a couple riders and stayed in fourth place until the last lap when I made a mistake. I took a different line and got hung up on a tree. By the time I got unstuck, I was in fifth place. I finished five seconds behind fourth place. Rock Run was a fun track to race. It had lots of off-camber sections. I really enjoyed racing through the tunnel. I would like to thank Right On Motorsports, Mager Enterprise, ITP, TwinCity Motorsports, Cook ATV Racing, Powermadd, Ty's Ice, Winner's Circle Design and B & E Offroad."

Courtney France races to first at Baker's Camp
Friday, May 30, 2014 10:00 PM
The Indiana Cross Country Racing (IXCR) sponsored by Westfield Powersports recently held the Baker's Camp Race near Bainbridge. The local race teams of AB Racing, Alex Bunch Racing, Twisted Sister's Racing and WingNut Racing participated in this event.
There were 60 youth racers in the ATV race.
Twisted Sister's Racing rider Courtney France raced to a 1st place finish in the SuperMini Girls ATV Class and 9th place finish in the overall riding Yamaha 250 Raptor.
Courtney said "Bakers Camp was the perfect race. I personally like more open tracks with tight woods. That meant this was the one to win. With the straight aways being perfect and smooth and when it came to the woods, you had to use your head in some places. This track is one of my top 3 places to race. It's one I never want to miss and I can't wait till next year! I want to thank Team IXCR, Westfield Powersports, B&E Offroad, Twincity Motorsports, Mager Enterprises, Kevin and Becky Chase, Mud Motorsports, France Racing, Twisted Sisters Racing, Grandma, WingNut Racing, AB Racing and Bunch Family."
