North Putnam visited Crawfordsville Saturday for a soccer double header. The Athenians won both matches. The girls won 4-2 and the boys capped the day with an 8-0 win.

For the girls, Hannah Whicker scored two goals and made an assist. Maddie Hudson and Reilly Dunham also scored. The Athenians led just 1-0 at the half, but used three big goals after the intermission to win it. Hudson tallied an assist, as did Paige Schueren and Krystyn Flynn.

The Lady Athenians (8-1-2) visit Southmont Tuesday.

On the boys' side, Crawfordsville scored five goals in the first half and never looked back. Kalidou Diaw and Felipe Wilson each scored twice. Westin Evans, Tommy Mitchell, Nathaniel Busenbark and Danny Calderon scored as well. Diaw had two assists and Mitchell had one.

Crawfordsville (4-5) will play host to North Montgomery Wednesday as they look to clinch the county title.
