The Tri-West girls' basketball team proved too much for the Southmont Mounties Friday night.

The Mounties and Bruins were neck and neck throughout the game, but the Bruins managed a few more baskets over the Mounties.

Brittany Barrett led the Mounties with 11 points with Reagan Case contributing 10 more.

Claire Johnson carried the Bruins with 17 points, shooting 7-10 from the free throw line. Madison Sprecher and Katrina Headlee each gave 10 points.

Come out and support the team as they compete in the IHSAA sectionals. Tri-West will battle against Indian Creek and Southmont against Riverton Parke.
