The Tri-West Bruins got whipped Saturday as they were dominated by the Brownsburg Bulldogs.

"They killed us tonight. It was a blowout," comments Bruins Coach Adam Bontreger.

Tri-West was put in a hole from the very beginning; Brownsburg outscored them 34-19 at the halftime buzzer.

"They were extremely on the defensive end. We suffered mightily on the offense in. Couldn't get any kind of offence going. Their point guard caused all kinds of trouble for us getting into our offense. We couldn't find an offensive flow," claims Bontreger.

"Our freshman played really well. Tyler Watson ended up with 11 points. He came up with a lot of courage tonight. He played without any fear. We talked about that this week. About not having any fear and playing courageous and he definitely did that tonight," says Bontreger.

Tri-West will be given a chance of redemption Feb. 14 against the Crawfordsville Athenians beginning at 7:30 p.m.
