The Tri-West Bruins boys' basketball team had a good night tonight with a win over the Lebanon Tigers.

The Bruins got control of the game early and won 70-44.

Tri-West Coach Adam Bontreger says, "Trevor Waite had 22 points. He's only 60 points away from breaking the school's scoring record of 1290 points set by Randall Lowe. Peyton Hendershot was big with 13 points."

Bontreger calls tonight's win the result by defensive pressure in their press and their transition into offense.

For the Bruins, Trevor Waite led the Bruins with 22 points, Peyton Hendershot had 13, and Jake Hendershot had eight.

For the Tigers, Kyle Williams led with 11 points. Following him is Alex Sigfied with 10 points, and Will Byrd with nine.

Follow the Tigers as they welcome Jefferson at home on Jan. 20 and the Bruins tomorrow night as they travel to New Palestine.
