The Frankfort Hot Dogs won their conference game against the Western Boone Stars tonight 72-59 in their boys' basketball game.



The Hot Dogs had a dominant first half leading 33-20. Ending the third quarter, the Hot Dogs still had a major lead. The Stars had a second burst of energy in the fourth quarter scoring 26 points. Even with the Stars last whim they couldn't hold off the Hot Dogs from scoring more.



Jarrod Smith scored 40 points tonight for the Hot Dogs. He was joined by Luis Medina with 12 points scored. Smith also led the team in free throws with nine. Carter Taylor led the team in rebounds with five.



Riggs Baxter had a great game as well scoring 20 points for the Stars, he was joined by Marshall Hogden in double digits with 12 points scored. Baxter also led the team in free throws with eight completed. Kaleb McCloskey led the Stars in defensive rebounds with four.
