The Western Boone Stars shined bright over the Clinton Central Bulldogs in tonight's 77-58 win.



The Stars boys' basketball team shot out of the game in the first quarter with a 25-6 performance. At the end of the first half, Western Boone had a 45-16 lead. The boys kept their pace in the third quarter scoring 23 points, the score 68-34. In the fourth quarter the Stars only scoring 9 points but allowed 24 points to be scored by the Bulldogs. This ended the game 77-58.



Riggs Baxter and Kaleb McCloskey led the Stars scoring 20 points in tonight's game. They were joined by Zach McMann with 13 points and Marshall Hodgen with 11. Hodgen and McCloskey both had eight rebounds. Hodgen also carried the team in free throws with seven.
