Santa heading to Linden Dec. 2

If you see something red whooshing through the northern Montgomery County sky on Dec. 2, don’t worry. It’s just Santa heading to the Linden Carnegie Public Library!

That’s where a Christmas Open House will be going on, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. actually. Santa will be visiting the library that evening to talk with the kids (he’s checking his naughty and nice list!). Not only that, but he’ll be there for a photo or two.

The library staff will have several stations set up around the building where kids can do a craft, select a free book from Penguin Random House, choose a pair of gloves or mittens from the mitten tree and participate in the search for the eight missing reindeer around the library. Those who find all of the missing reindeer and turn in the correct names will be entered into a prize drawing to be drawn at the end of December.

And Before guests go, they can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a treat!
