Shawn Michael Passwater

July 15, 1986 – Oct. 30, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Shawn Michael Passwater announce his unexpected passing on Oct. 30, 2021. He was 35 years old.

Mr. Passwater was born on July 15, 1986, in Youngstown, Ohio.

He had a wonderful heart and took great pleasure in spending time with his family and friends. He attended Roachdale Elementary and completed his education at North Putnam High School.

Mr. Passwater was a true equestrian. His love for training and showing horses ran deep. For the last 25 years, he regularly participated in horse shows. His successes in showing horses are many, with an Indiana 4H State Fair Championship and a Kentucky State Fair Championship among his most memorable accomplishments. He was also an accomplished coon hunter, winning many events with his prized coonhound dogs.

While he enjoyed training horses and coon hunting, his greatest personal achievement was becoming a father to his son Cash. Mr. Passwater loved Cash in a way that only a parent can love their son.
