Crawfordsville Fire Department revives local man

Last week, Crawfordsville Fire Department Firefighter/Paramedic Dayna Leonard lead a dispatch call to Donald Buck’s residents for difficulty breathing. First responders arrived to the scene to find Buck in respiratory distress. He later fell unresponsive and pulseless. After multiple rounds of CPR and intubation, Buck was resuscitated and spent 5 days in the hospital following the event. Buck (second from left) later paid a visit to the Crawfordsville Fire Department to thank Leonard (far right), Lieutenant Dustin Harris, and Corporal Jody Endicott (far right) for their quick work and lifesaving skills on the run. Firefighter/EMT Gavin Waddell (not pictured) was also on the run.
