Sheryl D. Sexton

April 14, 1946 – Jan. 6, 2022

Sheryl D. Sexton, of Crawfordsville, passed away at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was 75.

Born April 14, 1946 in Watertown, S.D., she was the daughter of James William Sexton and Mary Elizabeth Cochrane Sexton.

She graduated from Crawfordsville High School, class of 1964 and attended the Indiana School of Business in Indianapolis.

Ms. Sexton worked at R.R. Donnelley for many years in the transportation department. She loved to go hiking at Turkey Run and Shades State Parks, go for walks, loved horses and all animals. She was an avid reader. She also loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private graveside services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Whitlock House for the care they’ve given to Ms. Sexton during her time there.
