Master Gardeners Club to Host Spring Plant Sale on May 7th

Saturday, May 7th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m is the date and time set for the Master Gardeners Club Spring Plant Sale at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. The sale is open to the public and will be set up under cover of the poultry/rabbit shelter. A variety of flowering hanging baskets, tomato and pepper plants, annuals and herbs will be available for sale….and Nucor will be on scene for their annual tree give-away.

In addition, the 4-H exhibit hall will be set up with demonstration booths, a kid’s activity corner, a plant exchange table (bring one-take one); Door prizes/drawings, and the Master Gardeners will be on hand to help you with your gardening questions.

Community Growers of Montgomery County, Beekeepers of Montgomery County, Friends of Sugar Creek and Crawfordsville District Public Library Resource Deptartment will be in attendance with information about their organizations.

Taking care of your food and drink needs will be Fat Bottom Donuts food truck. This is a great way to start the Mother’s Day weekend and the Master Gardeners Club looks forward to seeing you there.
