2022 Montgomery County Primary Election Results

A par-for-the-course turnout saw Matt Nelson beat Greg Rutledge in the Republican primary for the Montgomery County Council seat in District 2, 57.37% to 42.63%. Mindy Byers bested Jennifer Bentley in the primary race for County Auditor, 54% to 46%.

County Sheriff Ryan Needham, County Commissioner Jim Fulwider, County Councilwoman for District 1 Joyce Grimble, Councilman for District 3 Steve Loy and Councilman for District 4 Brett A. Cating all run unopposed in their primaries.
