New Business

Letter of Financial Commitment for 2022 CCMG –

Approved. The letter states the County’s commitment to pay the local share in the amount of the $335,074.40 for the 2022 State CCMG Grant for paving County roads. 

Open Submittals for County EMS Contractual Services –

Opened proposals from the City of Crawfordsville and Heartland Ambulance Services for the provision of emergency medical and ambulance services for the county.

Award Landfill Bid –

 Awarded the landfill cap stabilization bid to JS McCullough Excavating, LLC in the amount of $437,064.60.

Award Bridge 29, 205 & 207 Deck Replacement Bid –

Awarded the bid to H.I.S. in the amount of $880,800.

ARPA Amendment –

The ARPA plan was  amended to include the following language:

Pursuant to the U.S. Treasury Final Rule, Montgomery County hereby irrevocably elects the standard allowance of not more than $10 million for its loss of revenue due to the COVID-19 public health emergency relative to revenues collected in the most recent fiscal year of the County prior to the emergency.  The funds allocated in this category will be used only for the provision of government services as allowed by applicable U. S. Treasury regulations which are approved by the County Commissioners.

Ordinances

2nd Reading Ordinance 2022-24 Amendment to Speed Ordinance

Adopted. The Ordinance establishes the speed limit on Old Waynetown Road as 30 mph.

Resolution

Resolution 2022-6 Authorizing Early Termination of Lease

Approved the early termination of the Commercial Lease Agreement. The lease was used for the storage of election equipment at 120 South Green Street.  The election equipment is now stored at the Montgomery County Government Center.
