Ruby Faye (Shelton) Harrison, age 86, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Crawfordsville on Oct. 20, 1936 to the late Leland and Faye (Harshbarger) Shelton.

She graduated from Coal Creek Central in 1955. She married the love of her life, Robert “Bobby” Lee Harrison on Oct. 22, 1956. She enjoyed gardening, thrift shopping, Good Will shopping, and garage selling. While visiting Florida in the winters, she could be found playing shuffleboard and spending time at the beaches looking for shells and shark teeth. She always looked forward to spending time with her family, gathering for dinner and singing together.

Survivors include her three children, Robert Eric (Cindy) Harrison, Tammy Renee (Matt Worrick) Williams and Shane Guy Harrison; a brother, Sonny Shelton; two sisters, Beverly Bruton and Patricia Murphy; seven grandchildren, Seth Harrison, HaLee Vice, Erin Williams, WesLee Harrison, Mya Harrison, Jamison Worrick, and Kalyn Aldridge; three great-grandchildren, Camden Vice, Grace Vice, and Annie Vice; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Ocie Harrison and Audrey Davis; and a daughter-in-law, Shannon Harrison.

Visitation is scheduled at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral Service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Elmdale.
