Doctor Joins Franciscan Physician Network Surgical Specialists Crawfordsville

Kalyan Gorantla, MD, MBA, has joined Franciscan Physician Network Surgical Specialists Crawfordsville.

Their office is located at Suite 5, 1704 Lafayette Road, Crawfordsville on the Franciscan Health Crawfordsville campus.

Dr. Gorantla most recently was on staff with North Indy Surgical and Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis. Earlier, he completed a fellowship in advanced gastrointestinal/minimally invasive surgery at the Houston Northwest Medical Center (University of Texas Health Science Center), a general surgery residency at Saint Louis University and a preliminary surgery internship at Maricopa Medical Center in Arizona.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery, he received undergraduate degrees at Washington University in St. Louis (biology and economics), a master’s in biology from Purdue University and earned his medical and master’s in business administration degrees from the Indiana University School of Medicine.
