Master Gardeners Thank Attendees

The Montgomery County Master Gardeners would like to thank the over 600 people who attended out Annual Spring Plant Sale & Show this past Saturday, April 29 at the 4-H grounds.

We had an outstanding sale and are already looking forward to Spring 2024. Our thanks to the Crawfordsville Boy Scouts who assisted customers by carrying their plants around for them and out to their cars and the North Montgomery High School Key Club whose 4 young ladies helped tremendously in areas so the Master Gardeners could be available for customers.

Thanks also to the vendors who participated selling plants we did not have and providing information to customers. Those vendors are HHSB providing popcorn to customers, RDM Farms of Fowler, Bit of Wild and Davidson’s of Crawfordsville and Walnut Fork Farms with their jams, jellies and creamed honey.

Organizations who provided information such as Friends of Sugar Creek who were raffling off a kayak and Crawfordsville District Public Library giving out free seeds from our Seed Library, signing up new members and showing gardening style books available at the library. We look forward to a bigger and better sale & show next year.

Save the Date for our Annual Plant Exchange on September 30, 2023. If you missed us, we will be at the Crawfordsville Farmer’s Market this Saturday, May 6.
