Summer Reading for Everyone!

Our 2023 Summer Reading program will be May 30 through July 11 for all ages. Log your reading time to win prizes. Plus, we have fun programs, contests, and crafts happening all summer long!

All Together Now Adult Summer Reading

Come together now and log your reading with CDPL this summer! From May 30-July 11, challenge yourself to read an hour every week. When you log your hour of reading, you will be entered into our weekly prize raffle for a chance to win 4-packs of Indiana State Fair Tickets and Brother’s personal pizzas. Plus, you can complete the All Together Activity Challenge to enter our Grand Prize raffle drawing.

How to Get Started:

Register/log on a computer

Head to cdpl.beanstack.com to register or sign in to your previous account, and join the summer challenge.

Register/log on a smart phone or tablet

Download the free app on Apple and Android phones/tablets–just search for ‘Beanstack.’

Once you have the app downloaded, search for Crawfordsville District Public Library, register an account, and join the summer challenge.

Prefer paper?

Visit the 2nd floor Reference desk to pick up a summer reading brochure beginning May 30.

Once you are set up on Beanstack, or have your paper brochure, just track your reading time and complete the activity challenge. We will have new winners every week!

Sweet Reads Kids and Teen Summer Reading

Visit the Youth Services desk to register and pick up your reading chart beginning May 30.

Read and earn prizes! For kids and teens of all ages, from babies through high school.
