Sharon “Shery” (Goodin) Webster

Sharon “Shery” (Goodin) Webster, age 83 of Wallace, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Franciscan Health Lafayette. She was born in Crawfordsville on November 21, 1939 to the late Charles L. & June L. (Weaver) Goodin.

Shery graduated from Wallace High School in 1957 and attended Indiana State University for several years. On April 26, 1959 she married the love of her life, James “Jim” Webster, who preceded her in death on October 26, 2017. She was a loving mother to all and a homemaker and farm girl. She enjoyed making stain glass art, sewing, antiquing, thrift store shopping, refinishing furniture, watching racing, playing fast pitch softball and coaching softball, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Kama Webster of Crawfordsville; two sons, Keal (Karen) Webster of Mellott and Kris (Denise) Webster of Kingman; a sister, Judy Jaques of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren, Monika (Jason) Morales, Jeremy (Jessica) Webster, Kyle (Kym Harris) Clouse, Seth (Lydia) Webster, Taryn Webster, Kacey (Dalton) Brennan, and Hunter (Kaydie Julian) Webster; and great-grandchildren, Kaden (Porsche), Annwyn, Kailyn, Roslyn, Nathan, Abby, Frances, Sylvia, and Valerie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Webster; and a brother-in-law, Pat Jaques.

Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Jackson Township Fire Department in Wallace with a gathering of family and friends following till 5:00pm.
