Milligan Park Pool Closed

The City of Crawfordsville announced that the Milligan Park Pool will be closed for the remainder of the 2025 season because of a mechanical failure.

Parks and Recreation staff have worked diligently throughout the summer to address various issues and minimize disruptions. Unfortunately, this most recent mechanical problem requires extensive repairs that are not feasible to complete before the season was scheduled to close on August 5, 2025.

“We recognize how important the pool is and sincerely thank our community for their patience and understanding as we navigated the challenges of this season,” said Fawn Johnson, Director of Parks and Recreation.

In addition to addressing immediate repair needs, the City has completed a feasibility study to evaluate the long-term future of the Milligan Park Pool. The findings from this study will help guide decisions and planning efforts moving forward to ensure the facility best meets the needs of the community.
