North Graduate Receives Scholarship

North Montgomery High School graduate Abigail Allen was the recipient of a $500 scholarship presented by the Association of Indiana Counties and sponsored by SRI, Inc.

AIC and SRI, Inc. presented the scholarship to her recently at the Montgomery County Government Center.

Allen is a recent graduate of North Montgomery High School.  She is the daughter of Justin and Courtney Garrett. Her father, Justin Garrett, is a truck driver for Montgomery County. Allen is attending Ivy Tech Community College to study Dental Assisting. 

Four students from across the state were awarded $500 scholarships. Scholarship recipients are spring 2025 graduates from Indiana high schools who planned to attend a school of higher education in Indiana in the fall of 2025. Eligibility required applicants to be an employee of or the custodial child of an Indiana county employee of an AIC affiliate office.
