County VSO Shares Update
We have enjoyed the cooler weather this past couple of weeks. We have had 80 phone calls into my office and I had a total of 31 vets for appt. into my office, and I had a total of 14 vets taken to their appointments at their clinics or hospitals.
I will not be at the American Legion Post 72 on Sept. 4 as I have a C&P exam that day. I will be at the American Legion Post 72 on Sept. 11. from 1-4 p.m. so give me a call at (765) 361-4133 for an appt. I will be at the VFW Post 1431 on Thursday the 18th from 1-3 p.m. so give me a call if you would like an Appt. I will also be at the DAV Meeting located at the Library in Crawfordsville from noon until 2 p.m. so please come and see me on Sept. 20.
Remember that Attorney Dan Taylor will prepare a will for all veterans for free so please contact him at (765) 361-9680 and he is located across the street from the Courthouse on 105 N. Washington St.
Sept. 18, 2025 is the birthday of the Air Force. Sept. 19, 2025 is the POW/MIA Recognition Day and Sept. 29, 2025 is Gold Star Mothers and Family Day – a day to honor the families of fallen service members!
Remember that the second Tuesday of every month from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. we have the veteran legal clinic located at Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W. 10th St.,
Indianapolis (Auditorium AB -066). This is for low income Hoosier veterans , service members and families.
