U.S. 231 Shift in Place for Motocross Event
| The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a new traffic pattern that will impact the construction zone on U.S. 231 on the north end of Crawfordsville. Traffic has now been moved into its original configuration on U.S. 231 between I-74 and Market Street, with both left lanes being closed. The purpose of these lane closures is to allow crews to safely perform work in the median, as part of the ongoing structure and resurfacing work in the area. This traffic pattern will remain throughout the rest of the project, with the exception of all four lanes being re-opened for the Motocross of Nations event happening in town. Both left lanes will then close again on or after Tuesday, October 7. Construction is anticipated to be complete by the end of October but is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to use caution in and around all work zones. |
