Agatha Christie Play on Stage in Hillsboro
The best-selling murder mystery from Agatha Christie, “And Then There Were None” is on The Harmony Theater stage through Nov. 1 in Hillsboro. This production is directed by Charles Burr.
Ten strangers are summoned to a remote island. All that the guests have in common is a wicked past they’re unwilling to reveal and a secret that will seal their fate – for each has been marked for murder. As the weather turns and the group is cut off from the mainland, the bloodbath begins in accordance with the lines of a sinister nursery rhyme about “Ten Little Soldier Boys.” This play adaptation is written by the author herself, Agatha Christie.
The cast is comprised of familiar faces to Harmony audiences – Samantha Bagdon as Ethel Rogers, Caleb DeWitt as Sir Lawrence Wargrave, Xander Haan as Fred Narracott/Anthony Marston, Don Hart as General MacKenzie, Haley Iverson as Vera Claythorne, Noah Johnson as Philip Lombard, Rebecca Lea as Doctor Armstrong, Clarissa McCullough as Emily Brent, Austin Russell as William Blore and Nathaniel Wright as Thomas Rogers.
“And Then There Were None” will feature a food menu filled with guest favorites, as well as new items themed to the production. As usual, all meals will include the fresh-baked homemade rolls and the signature broccoli salad, a long-standing tradition at the theater.
