Great End to a Great Season

Wabash Junior Luke Adams hauled in an early touchdown pass in Wabash College’s dramatic, season-ending 32-31 ForeverLawn Bowl victory over Ohio Northern University last weekend. After a tough Monon Bell game, the Little Giants wrapped up the year at the bowl game in Canton, Ohio at the famed Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The Little Giants were behind 31-24 with two minutes left and marched 69 yards and scored with two seconds left when QB Jackson Gilbert hit Nick Witte on a 23-yard pass. Coach Jake Gilbert then made the gutsy call to go for the win and running back Cole Dickerson took a direct snap and hit Rowen Durbin with the winning two-point conversion for the win. Wabash finished the season 9-2.
