Library’s Giving Tree Benefits Community

Most everyone is familiar with Shel Silverstein’s childrens book The Giving Tree. The Crawfordsville District Public Library has created a new version that is just as touching – and definitely more immediately helpful.

Library officials hope you will come in and decorate their giving tree with new hats, gloves and scarves for all ages. You can do so now through Sunday, Dec. 21.

All those items will be donated to people in need in our community.
