| I was honored to again be selected to lead the committee of lawmakers assigned to continue the tradition of leading the governor from his office to the House chambers for the annual State of the State address. I passionately believe in the importance of our institutions and that our system requires strong and separate branches that both collaborate and compete. I applaud the governor’s call for focus on affordability, and I accept the challenge to make that a state priority as we search for policies that will lead Indiana to both greater prosperity and lower costs. |
