Boeing Boeing Flies Onto Harmony Stage

The classic 1960s physical comedy “Boeing Boeing” takes The Harmony Theater stage running March 13 through March 28 in Hillsboro. This play, written by Marc Camoletti and translated by Beverly Cross and Francis Evans, is directed by Austin Michael Russell.

This French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German and American fiancees, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent “layovers.” He keeps “one up, one down, and one pending” – until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris, and Bernard’s apartment, at the same time.

In this production are Harmony alumni Matthew Adam Hawkins as Bernard, Noah Johnson as Robert, Nicole Leis as Berthe, Kate Mobley as Gabriella and Sylvia Muchmore as Gretchen. Newcomer, Kody Horrocks, appears as Gloria.

“Boeing Boeing” will feature a food menu filled with guest favorites, as well as new items themed to the production. As usual, all meals will include the fresh-baked homemade rolls and the signature broccoli salad, a long-standing tradition at the theater.
