First Door Topic of Lunch With LWV Friday

The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County will host its next Lunch with the League on Friday, March 6 at noon.  The program will feature Sherrie Lacy of First Door of Montgomery County.

First Door is a program created under United Way of Montgomery County with funding help from Drug Free Montgomery County and the Montgomery County Commissioner’s Opioid Settlement Fund.  Since its inception, First Door has been a one-stop central service for navigating vital resources, housing, food, health care, legal services, among others.   Located on the 2nd floor, in the First Financial Bank building, 221 E. Main St., Crawfordsville, First Door offers individuals and families a central connection point to find resources they desperately need but have had difficulty locating or figuring out how to access.

Lunch with the League will take place in Whitlock Hall at St. John’s Episcopal Church from noon to 1 p.m.  St. John’s Episcopal Church is located at 212 S. Green St.   Plan to bring a sack lunch or a lunch from any of the offerings in town and hear how First Door helps our community connect with vital resources.

Lunch with the League is a free program offered in the public interest sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County.
