Yearlong Reading Journeys

Emmie and Holden Bronaugh, ages 9 and 11 respectively, have completed the Crawfordsville District Public Library program “Yearlong Reading Challenge.” Emmie and Holden are the children Josh and Kayla Bronaugh. On this journey Emmie read 12 chapter books and 12 picture books. She read 1,424 pages during this challenge. She also practiced library skills and learned about a different author each month. Emmie’s favorite book is Mallory McDonald, Baby Expert by Laurie Friedman. Emmie said, “I love coming to the library! It is so much fun!” Holden read 12 chapter books and 12 picture books, totaling 1,469 pages during this challenge. Holden also practiced library skills and learned about a different author each month. Holden’s favorite book is The Vanderbeekers Ever After by Karina Yan Glaser. Holden said, “The reading program is a great program that all kids should try!”
