Meet the Candidates

The Parke County Chamber of Commerce’s Meet the Candidate event was held recently and one of the races impacting Montgomery County is the GOP primary for Indiana Senate District 23.  Current State Sen. Spencer Deery is facing a challenge from former Fountain County Clerk Paula Copenhaver. Both spoke of the need for American conservative values in the mostly rural 23rd District. The event was attended by roughly approximately 35 people.
