Calling all young explorers! It’s time for the popular Gen. Lew Wallace Study & Museum ArchiCamp again!
The Study & Museum is pleased to bring back ArchiCamp, a two-day architecture-themed camp presented in collaboration with Indiana Landmarks. Designed to engage and inspire, ArchiCamp introduces children to the rich architectural history of Crawfordsville while encouraging an appreciation for preserving cultural heritage.
Scheduled for June 16–17, ArchiCamp invites young explorers ages 8–12 to take part in an immersive experience blending history, design and creativity. Campers will explore the unique architectural styles of downtown Crawfordsville and the Lew Wallace Study through guided walking tours, while also participating in hands-on activities that bring architecture to life.
Archicamp offers a dynamic mix of education and fun that sparks imagination and curiosity. Activities from past camps have included building popsicle stick bridges, designing blueprints and constructing miniature cityscapes from recycled materials.
Space is limited, and scholarships are available to ensure all interested participants have the opportunity to attend. Early registration is encouraged.
Don’t miss this opportunity for young learners to discover the world of architecture and local history. Join in on inspiring the next generation to value and preserve our shared heritage.
