West Central IN CTE Broadcasters Shine

The Western Boone Radio/TV class had a big day at the Indiana Association of School Broadcaster’s annual state contest in March. At Butler University, the Radio/TV class was recognized with two Honorable Mentions. These awards were for the LIVE Stream of the Crawfordsville Christmas Parade and for work in the Radio Interview category.  Students also attended workshops hosted by industry professionals as part of the conference.

Charles Davis (FC), Kaleb Howe (Webo), Kirstin McCormick (Webo), Sabra Harlan (Webo), Ethan Keck (SM), Karleigh Brown (CHS), Landon Dagley (SM), Edwin Fernandez (CHS), Mallory Hayden (SM) and Sophia Shannon (SM) were the event emcees.

Radio Interview Honorable Mention

Sophia Shannon (Southmont) was recognized for her radio interview as part of her Capstone placement for Hoosier Ag today.
