AWL Featured at Event in Brownsburg



In celebration of National Pet Month this May, Walmart and Best Friends Animal Society are teaming up again to help dogs and cats in shelters across the country find loving homes. Throughout the month, Walmart and Best Friends will host “Give Love. Save Lives.” adoption events in communities nationwide, including right here in Indianapolis.
Dogs and cats from the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County will be available and in search of new homes at the Walmart Supercenter in Brownsburg. All pet adoption fees will be waived. Animal Welfare League is one of Best Friends’ 6,000 shelter and rescue group partners around the country.
Event attendees will also have the chance to win a year’s supply of pet food from Blue Buffalo and a prize pack of goodies valued at $2,000 from leading pet brand partners, including: Blue Buffalo, Fresh Step, NUTRISH, Pedigree, Temptations, Nylabone, Sulfodene, ADAMS Botanicals, Purina, PetArmor, Lucky One, Fi, Dogsters, Comfort Zone, Churu, Capstar, Levoit, and Spruce. No purchase necessary to enter. Attendees will also receive Best Friends swag and information on how to help homeless pets in their community.
It all takes place Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Walmart in Brownsburg.
