CHS Student Served as Page During ‘26 Legislative Session

State Rep. Beau Baird (R-Greencastle) welcomed Alayna Schroeter, from Crawfordsville High School to the Statehouse where she participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2026 legislative session.

“Some of the best public servants started out by just showing up and paying attention,” Baird said. “The page program is where your curiosity can turn into engagement.”

During her day as a page, Alayna interacted with lawmakers and session staff, toured the Statehouse and joined Baird on the House floor to watch the legislation process in action.
