Master Gardeners say Thank You
By Sheri Bethard
President, Master Gardeners of Montgomery County
The Master Gardeners of Montgomery County sincerely thank the approximately 610 people who attended our Annual Spring Plant Sale & Garden Show on Saturday, May 2, at the 4-H Fairgrounds. Thanks to your support, the sale was a tremendous success, and we are already looking forward to Spring 2027.
Acknowledgments
We extend special thanks to the Crawfordsville Scouts for helping customers carry plants throughout the event and out to their vehicles. We are also grateful to the vendors and nonprofit organizations that participated by selling plants and plant-related products and by sharing information about their organizations and businesses.

How Proceeds Will Help
Funds raised from the event will support several local projects, including the Crawfordsville Seed Library, the Nicholson School Garden, the Wellbrooke Seniors Garden Group, beautification plantings of native trees at the 4-H Fairgrounds, and the installation of the Montgomery County Pollinator Garden.
The Pollinator Garden was planted on Saturday, May 9, with more than 900 native flowering plugs designed to attract birds, bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. The garden should begin blooming in the coming months. It is open to the public.
Upcoming Event: Annual Plant Exchange
