Local Partners Honored by CTE
The West Central Indiana Career and Technical Education programs recently recognized the outstanding support and commitment of industry partners throughout the year.
“While we are fortunate to work alongside many incredible businesses and organizations, we recently had the opportunity to celebrate a select group of industry partners whose continued involvement has made a meaningful impact on our students and programs,” the school said in a release.
These partnerships play a vital role in creating real-world learning experiences and helping bridge the gap between the classroom and the workforce. Through mentorship, collaboration, donations, advisory support, and hands-on learning opportunities, partners help students gain valuable industry knowledge, explore career pathways, and build skills that prepare them for future success.
CTE held an Industry Partner Appreciation Luncheon on Thursday, May 21 to recognize and thank these dedicated supporters for the important role they play in Career and Technical Education. Partners included Cheryl Morphew with The City of Crawfordsville, Chief Busenbark and Chief Miller with CFD, Chris Cogdill with C&F Fabricating, Dave Peach with Forcht Broadcasting, Dave Sanders with Sanders Funeral Care, Jamie Mead and Krista Bauer with Franciscan Alliance, John Hughes with York Automotive and Matt Dickerson with SSC.
