Endicott Donates Handmade Items To Community Baby Shower

Betty Endicott, a Community Paramedicine patient, is donating handmade baby blankets, hats, and booties to the Montgomery County Community Baby Shower this September.

“Betty likes to crochet, as this keeps her hands busy. She crochets at least four hours a day, seven days a week,” says Social Worker for Crawfordsville Fire Department Mobile Integrated Health, Lyndsey Sparrow. “Betty has such a kind heart and we are so thankful for her generous donations to the program.”

Endicott first started making the baby items and donating them to Project Swaddle when she learned about the program at a women’s meeting that was held at the Moose Lodge in 2019.

The Community Baby Shower is an event put on and sponsored by the Montgomery County Health Department and Franciscan Health. This Community Baby Shower is for parents and guardians that are currently pregnant or have a child under the age of one. There will be free education, gifts, and community resources for all attendees. The first 100 parents to register to attend will receive a large gift as well as diapers and baby wipes.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 30th from 9:00AM-12:00PM at the Montgomery County 4-H Fairgrounds. Registration is free but required, please register here: https://bit.ly/3YdVIYy
