Approve Affidavit for Construction Fund Disbursement Request #3 –

Tempur Project Taxable Economic Development Revenue Bonds of 2022

Approved Regions Bank (Bond Trustee) to make a disbursement of $900,678.60 from the Taxable Economic Development Revenue Bonds of 2022 (IAW/CSD Project) for rail infrastructure expenditures incurred by Tempur-Pedic and also Program Management expenses incurred by the Lochmueller Group

Highway Department – Bridge182 Replacement on CR750 East over Big Raccoon Creek –      

Awarded Bid to Conexco, Inc. in the amount of $673,615, approved contract and issued Notice to Proceed. The Engineer’s estimate was $850,000.

Approved Inspection Contract w/CivilCon for an amount not to exceed $45,000 for construction inspection.

ORDINANCES

Final Reading Ordinance 2023-16 Amending Tax Rate for Cumulative Bridge Fund

                  Approved ordinance to reduce the cumulative bridge tax rate to $.055 from $.075 for 2024. Tax rate provides revenue to maintain and improve bridges.

Introduction Ordinance 2023-17 Creating Montgomery County Health Department

        Social Impact Partnership Program Fund – $10,000 Grant

        Introduced ordinance to create a fund for a $10,000 grant for diapers and wipes.

Introduction Ordinance 2023-18 Creating Mace SWIF Grant Fund – $466,200

Introduced ordinance to create a fund for the State grant awarded to the County to assist in addressing stormwater issues in the unincorporated areas of Mace.

Introduction Ordinance 2023-19 Creating Tempur SWIF Grant Fund – $3,000,000

Introduced ordinance to create a fund for the State grant awarded to the County to be used towards costs related to installation of water    infrastructure by Indiana American Water for the Tempur Project.
