New Education And Entertainment Resources Available At CDPL
Are you looking for some indoor entertainment as the weather grows colder? Would you like to learn something new in the upcoming new year? If you already love using our library’s Libby app for ebooks, we now have even more for you to discover there. In addition to the full collection of ebooks, audiobooks, and digital magazines we currently offer in Libby, we have added a new category of content that includes continuing education and entertainment, with a variety of streaming videos, database services, and much more!
View film festival favorites and documentaries, enjoy a beautiful opera or challenge yourself with a strengthening yoga session. Discover the history of ancient Egypt, take a tour of Scotland and Wales, or learn how to play guitar. These are just a few of the options available to you, all free with your library card.

If you have not tried our Libby app yet, you can download it for free in your device’s app store (android and iOS available) and sign up for a free account with your library card number. The Libby app is easy to use, guides you through the setup process, and gets you connected to our library in just a few minutes. You will be able to enjoy thousands of ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and our new variety of extras.

In addition to Libby, we also offer Hoopla, which provides access to thousands of ebooks, movies, music, and more, and Kanopy, which provides access to a huge collection of films and documentaries, including movies and shows for kids.
The library is open Monday-Thursday 9a-9p, Friday-Saturday 9a-5p, and Sunday 1-5p. Stop in and discover all the education and entertainment your library card gives you.
