Topsy-Turvy

It’s been a topsy-turvy year for Montgomery County football fans, but there is reason for optimism. The Southmont Mounties are having a stellar season and are currently 7-1. North Montgomery has struggled a bit and is on the opposite end of the spectrum at 1-7. But the Chargers play North Putnam who also has a losing record. And Crawfordsville is 3-5 and should be favored Friday night against Frankfort. If the Athenians win, that’ll be the first time they have won four games in a season since 2008 when Rex Ryker was the coach. Since everyone is at home, let’s get out there and cheer on all our local boys in the last game of the regular season this Friday night.
