19th AnnualHoliday Tea & Fashion Show Dec. 5

The 19th AnnualHoliday Tea & Fashion Show is scheduled for Dec. 5 at the historic Elston Homestead, located at 400 E. Pike Street.

This year’s event, titled A Very Vintage Christmas, offers a charming twist on tradition. Following the closing of long-time participant Heathcliff earlier this year, the fashion show will now be presented by locally owned Denhart’s Mercantile.

The Homestead will also feature festive décor by A Sprig of Lime for the first time.

As always, guests will enjoy a performance by the Wabash College Glee Club, accompanied byCheryl Everett on piano, featuring classic holiday favorites. Sweets, savories, tea, and coffee will be served on the Elston family silver, continuing a gracious tradition begun byMaria Akin Elston and Joanna Lane nearly 190 years ago.
