Salute to Ron Dickerson!

The Redevelopment Commission’s last meeting with Ron Dickerson as a member came last week. He is stepping down at the end of 2025. Dickerson has served on the commission for many years and has been president the past few. While he was on the RDC, he helped extend water along Nucor Road, funded the construction of the sewer treatment plant, helped attract Tempur Sealy to locate on Nucor Road, constructed Comfort Drive, extended sewer and water along Comfort Drive and more. He was also instrumental in helping get water extension that allowed Nucor to locate their coatings expansion and their towers and structures operation along Nucor Road.
