CONCERT On the CORNER

Indiana University’s Acapella consort Collegium Polyphonia was featured in Wabash Avenue Presbyterian’s Concerts on the Corner Sunday. Composed of six graduate students and two undergraduates from the IU Jacobs School of Music, the group was recently formed by Dr. Dana Marsh. Dr. Marsh is the Chair of the Department of Historical Performance and professor of music at IU Bloomington. He said this was the first time the group performed together in concert. The concert featured a capella sacred music from the Western European High Church in the 1500s and 1600s. Despite the blustery conditions, about 80 people attended.
