Oh So Close

Wabash College is having a tough year on the diamond. The Little Giants dropped a doubleheader to 16^th-ranked Wittenberg Wednesday at Goodrich Ballpark. Wabash came within a whisker of winning the first game but fell 4-3. The second game wasn’t close as the national powerhouse rolled to a 16-6 win. The losses drop Wabash to 9-21 overall and 3-9 in North Coast Athletic Conference play. Wabash played Hanover yesterday and travels to Naperville, Ill. Saturday and DePauw Tuesday before returning home Wednesday at 5 p.m. against Franklin.
